ITDirect Work Request
How to place a work request in ITDirect.
Open your web browser and go to http://www.rrisd.net.
Under the Faculty & Staff menu, click on Technology Request.
You will be sent to a website asking for your email address. Type in your email address (i.e. firstname.lastname@rrisd.net)
If you have never entered a ticket through this system, you will be asked to provide your last name as a new requester. (NOTE: If you have all ready registered a user on the ITDirect system you will be sent to the new work request page.)
If you are registering as a new user, you will be taken to a page asking some basic information after you input your email address and last name. Fill out the information and click submit.
You will now be taken to the new work request page.
There are mulitple steps on this page that you will need to follow. Please start at Step 1 and provide the requested information and continue through the last step.
In Step 3 you must select a problem type. Depending on what problem you select you might have different options. If you select Printers, for instance, you will be asked for different information than if you had chosen CPU/Computer.
Once you have completed all the steps on the page, you will have to input a password at the bottom of the page to submit the request. If you are unsure of the submittal password then you must contact your Campus Technology Specialist.
After you have typed in the submittal password, click on submit to place your work request into the queue.
