The mission of our Online Learning Community is to provide free assistance that will help students, staff, and our community achieve the greatest possible academic success. River Road ISD aims to raise your practical awareness in e-learning techniques and technologies that can be used to help support teaching and learning. All links below are free tutorials that are open to anyone interested in expanding their knowledge in the subjects listed.

	This site offers a free Spanish tutorial.
	Rader's CHEM4KIDS.COM Chem4Kids.com is a free website that teaches the basics of chemistry to all ages. It has sections on atoms, matter, elements, the periodic table, biochemistry, and reactions.
	Rader's BIOLOGY4KIDS.COM Biology4Kids.com is a free website that teaches the basics of biology to all ages. We have sections on cell structure, cell function, the scientific method, classification, microorganisms, invertebrates, plants, vertebrates, and animal systems.
	Rader's GEOGRAPHY4KIDS.COM Geography4Kids.com is a free website that teaches the basics of geography and earth sciences to all ages. It has sections on earth energy, earth structure, the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, the biosphere, climates, and BGC cycles (biogeochemical).
	Rader's NUMBERNUT.COM NumberNut.com is a free website that teaches the basics of math to all ages. It has sections on artithmetic which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
	E-Books for Kids The Amarillo Public Library now provides unlimited access to TumbleBook Library, which is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read or have read to you.
	This comprehensive on-line EBSCO package provides students and educators access to multiple databases simultaneously though five interfaces: Searchasaurus, Kids Search, Student Research Center, EBSCO Host and though the new Grokker visual search tool. An interface for every level! When logging in, use rrisd as the username and wildcats for your password.
