Skyward Family Access Replaces K-12 Planet

River Road ISD is pleased to announce the implementation of Family Access by Skyward, Inc.  Family Access will be available for the 2008-2009 school year and will replace our current K-12 Planet online grade and attendance system as well as mynutrikids.com pay online system for Food Service. It is a secure Internet based website that will allow you to easily keep track of nearly everything your child does while at school . Among other things, this new service will allow you to view your child's attendance, grades, schedule, food service balance, progress, assignments, and  emergency information from one convenient easy to navigate website. Family Access is a free service and will be available to all  parents with children enrolled in the district.

We are very excited about Family Access and recognize that many parents would like to play a greater role in their child's education. Family Access will help you stay informed about your student’s progress and hope that we can use this tool to create a stronger relationship between parents and our school community. 

More information regarding Family Access will be available during registration for the 2008-2009 school year.
